Type of material: Water-based acrylic paint that gives a chalkboard effect on which you can draw and write with chalk and dry pastels.

Composition: Water, synthetic acrylic dispersion, titanium dioxide, fillers, additives, preservative.
Density: 1.6 g / cm3.
Application: By brush, roller, spray, including airless spray (nozzle 0.026-0.031 inches = 0.66-0.79 mm, pressure 6-8 bar, spray angle 40-80 °).
Properties: Differs in a high degree of wear resistance. It is used to create the surface of a chalk board directly on the wall, or to restore the surface of school boards. It can be used not only in educational institutions, but in office premises, cafes, restaurants, reception areas, as well as at home, including children's rooms. Possesses excellent adhesion and high hiding power. The coating formed is lightfast and durable. The coating does not become brittle, does not form cracks, does not flake off.
Substrate: The paint can be applied to all durable substrates. Remove fragile parts, old coatings without residue. Fill cracks and damage.
For filling use the Kaizer brand “Fix Spachtel” acrylic filler.
ATTENTION! Do not use dry gypsum fillers as a base. they cannot provide sufficient mechanical strength to the surface.
Sand the sealed areas with sanding paper no. 100-150 and remove sanding dust.
To create a magnetic slate surface, Kaizer's Magnetfarbe metal primer paint can be applied underneath the Kaizer brand Griffelfarbe (see data sheet for this product).
The base should be treated with a deep penetration primer-concentrate "Putzgrundharter 1: 4", brand "Kaizer" in 2 layers "wet on wet". In each specific case, the preparation of the surface for painting should be individual.
Application: Stir the paint thoroughly before use, and stir occasionally during work. Base coat: Apply 1–2 coats of Kaizer Griffelfarbe to the prepared surface. When painting, it is recommended to ensure the uniform application and distribution of the paint on the surface.
Finishing coat: After the base coat has completely dried (1 day), apply 1-2 coats of the Kaizer brand Finish Griffelfarbe. You can write with chalk after 3 days. Complete polymerization of the topcoat occurs in 2 weeks.
Cleaning of working tools: Immediately after completion of work, rinse with water.
Storage: In a cool, frost-protected place. Store opened packaging tightly sealed. Shelf life in the original packaging of the manufacturer is 12 months.

Drying times are correspondingly longer in cool and damp weather.
Processing temperature: Minimum + 5 ° C for substrate and atmosphere during processing and drying.
